Roulette strategy - Sector slicing
Although problematic, the safest way
to beat the wheel is to play a biased wheel with a strong
degree of confidence. Most people, however, don’t
have the time or energy to employ such practices. Here
though, is a way to combine this strategy with short
term play:
Watching a roulette wheel revolve through 4000 spins
(the number recommended to be able to ascertain bias)
probably seems daunting. So if we can bring the number
of recorded decisions down to 16 – 20 then it
will obviously be more manageable, particularly if you
do not have to record these decisions for yourself.
In roulette, casinos use scoreboards. These scoreboards
record the last 16 – 20 numbers that have hit.
All a player needs do is make a note of these numbers
and ask themselves the following:
1. Are an inordinate number of hits (say 8 –12)
in a given one-third, one quarter or one-eighth section
of the wheel? If so, simply bet that section. This is
called a sector slice.
2. Have certain numbers repeated, even though the
overall numbers have been scattered. If so, bet those
numbers. These are known as big numbers.
3. Are certain numbers repeating within a sector of
the wheel where other numbers have also hit? If so,
bet those numbers and other numbers in that sector –
even if some of the numbers in that sector have no hit.
The only question a player needs to ask himself is
how much money to wager on any given spin. Remember
also, that the fact that you are perceiving that there
is a pattern does not necessarily indicate bias. Gambling
tends to put people in a state of mind whereby the mere
fact that they wish so desperately to win means they
will take the most questionable of omens as absolute
proof of their future luck. Caution and logic are always
advisable when risking one’s money.
